29-year-old Oshkosh resident arrested for possessing explosives

OSHKOSH, Wis. - The Oshkosh Police Department is investigating an incident that occurred Wednesday where a 29-year-old man from Oshkosh was arrested for possessing explosives.

Police responded to a harassment call in the 200 block of N. Westhaven Drive in Oshkosh when they were advised about possible explosives inside the apartment.

A search warrant was then obtained and acted on.

The Brown County Bomb Squad was called in and took control of several items for evidence.

The 29-year-old resident inside the apartment was taken to Winnebago County Jail.

Oshkosh Police Department and the FBI continue the investigation.
