Multi-vehicle crash snaps power pole in half in Green Bay

Intersection of Packerland and Larsen blocked off, stoplight out

Green Bay, Wis (WFRV) - Green Bay Police are investigating an accident at Packerland Drive and Larsen Road on the city's west side.

A three vehicle accident caused a truck to hit a utility pole, according to police. The bottom half of the pole broke off in the crash, suspending the top half in the air, on the wires.  The crash happened around 7 a.m. Thursday morning. There are no injuries, police said.

The lights at the intersection are out and Wisconsin Public Service is working to repair the pole.  The intersection is currently shut down while the accident scene is being investigated and while WPS completes their work. It is unknown at this time how long the intersection will be shut down.
