Bomb threat investigation at Oshkosh school

OSHKOSH (WFRV) - UPDATE: Oshkosh Police say nothing suspicious was found during the search of the building.

Oshkosh Police are investigating a bomb threat that happened at Oshkosh West High School on Thursday.

Students and staff were evacuated from the school building just before 11:00 a.m.

A search will be conducted by the Oshkosh Police Department working with the Brown-Outagamie County Bomb Squad and Oshkosh Area School District staff.

The bomb threat and evacuation does not impact other schools.

Lunch will be provided at the football field during the evacuation.

Students who normally take part in open campus privileges will be allowed to do so during the
evacuation.

Afternoon classes at Oshkosh West High School are canceled.

After-school co-curricular activities will continue as planned.

Busing is set-up for 1:00 p.m.
