GREEN BAY,Wis. -    The Brown County sex trafficking sting puts three people behind bars including a minor. Local law enforcement used a fake account on an escort website during this week's trafficking bust.

Alexus William and Deon Barron were taken into custody and are facing both human trafficking and sex trafficking charges. Both Barron and Williams and had their first court appearance Thursday.

Barron's preliminary hearing is set for July 21st with a five thousand cash bond. Williams pleaded not guilty and has a conference set for September 11 th.

Law enforcement says, that this case is part of the crack down on trafficking in Northeastern Wisconsin. According to Susan Lockwood from the Sexual Assault Center in Green Bay there has been a shift in how victims of trafficking are viewed.

"It's on the changes that is happening that is really to everyone benefit. It's how law enforcement sees these women and sometimes boys as victims and they are not breaking the law," Director of The Sexual Assault Center, Susan Lockwood said.
