GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV)--While Gov. Walker kicks off his campaign Tuesday, Democratic opponent Mary Burke is criticizing his record.

The Former Trek Bicycle Executive said, "Under Scott Walker, Wisconsin is falling behind. In job creation, we are 35th in the country and second to last among Midwestern states. Worse still, we are one of the worst in the country in new business starts."

In a press release she said Wisconsin was one of the worst states in the country in new business starts."

Walker's game plan has failed. Giving tax breaks to out of state corporations and those at the top is not how you create jobs. And it's not how you grow the middle class," she said.

She said her "Invest for Success" jobs plan will help stimulate job growth in Wisconsin.

Burke will spend the week campaigning across Wisconsin, making stops in Milwaukee, Wausau, Superior, Eau Claire, La Crosse, Appleton, and Waukesha.
