Early morning house fire sends one to hospital

ALLOUEZ, Wis. - An early morning house fire on Pickard Circle in Allouez sent one person to the hospital.

According to firefighters, the call came in at about 5:30 Monday morning, from a person inside the house.

That person was transported to the hospital. It is unclear if there are any injuries.

When firefighters arrived flames were coming from the first level of the home, but once inside they realized there were also flames in the attic.

Steve Sellin, Battalion Chief of the Green Bay Metro Fire Department, says the most difficult part of fighting the fire was finding that the fire was in multiple locations throughout the home.

Damage estimates are unknown at this time and the cause of fire remains under investigation.
