Final public hearing being held for state budget

Friday is the last day you can weigh in on the Governor's proposed state budget.

The joint finance committee will hold their final public hearing this morning at Marinette High School.
It will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

State lawmakers want everyone to come to the hearing to give their input so they know what Wisconsinites want. They will accept oral and written suggestions

One of the biggest items people can weigh in is Governor Walker's $649 million education budget and his plan to dedicate an extra $100 million to transportation projects.
