Green Bay East High School heads to Washington, D.C.

- GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - The marching band at Green Bay East High School is headed to Washington, D.C. to perform in the National Independence Day Parade.

The group leaves Tuesday night, but this evening the band will practice with a parade of their own.

The band will start at Baird Street and Cherry Street around 6:15 p.m., and march west on Cherry Street to north on Roosevelt Street, to south on St. Clair Street, then east on Irwin Street and return to Cherry Street.

Today, on Local 5 News at 4:00 p.m., Karen Iken, Director of Music, shared the details on this huge honor.
