Helping Hand: Students start "Stuff the Bus" campaign to help feed those in need

RIPON, Wis. (WFRV) - The holidays are all about sharing and caring, and now one local school is getting into the spirit.


In a small classroom in Ripon, 5th graders are bringing an entire school district and the community together, one can of food at a time.


One student at Murray Park Elementary School started a campaign to "Stuff the Bus."


The goal is to stuff an entire school bus full with non-perishable goods, all for needy families.


Here's the information you need if you would like to donate:


You can drop off any non-perishable food item anytime December 2nd through December 20th at one of these Ripon schools:


Murray Park/Quest

64 Sunset Avenue


Barlow Park/Journey

100 Ringstad Drive


Ripon Middle School/Catalyst

651 Metomen Street


Ripon High School/Lumen

850 Tiger Drive


You can also drop off items at one of the following locations:


Friday, December 6th 4pm-9pm at "Dickens of a Christmas" in downtown Ripon Saturday, December 7th 10am-4pm at the Pick-n-Save parking lot in Ripon (1188 West Fond du Lac Street).
