Jacob Cayer found competent for trial

A man accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend and her mother to death is heading to trial. 

26-year-old Jacob Cayer faces several counts of First Degree Intentional Homicide, after he allegedly stabbed his ex-girlfriend and her mother to death and injured another man last June

Those women were later identified as 63-year-old Sunny Teague and 25-year-old Sabrina Teague  

After a series of hearings to determine Cayer's competency, a judge ruled that he is competent, and the case can move forward. 

A preliminary hearing will take place on April 19th at 9:30 a.m.
