Man still on the loose following deadly Oshkosh shooting

Oshkosh - Police say they were called to the 800 block of Waugoo Avenue in Oshkosh on Sunday night for a shooting that left one man dead, another injured and the third male unaccounted for.

Police say an 18-year-old Appleton man died because of gun shot wounds at the hospital, a 25-year-old Oshkosh man was also treated for a bullet wound at the hospital and released.

Police say a third man, a black male in his late teens or early twenties is on the loose and want to warn the public that he may be armed.

Because it is still early in the investigation, authorities aren't sure who fired the bullets, and they are asking the public for any information about the shooting.

People can call the Winnebago County Crime Stoppers if they want to remain anonymous at 920-231-8477 or add the free P3 app on their phones or got to winnebagocrimestoppers.org.

However, if it is an emergency dial 9-1-1 and people can also contact the police department's non emergency number at 920-236-5700 and if your tip leads to an arrest there is a possible cash reward.

The police also say that they believe this is an isolated incident and that the public is not in any danger.
