MENASHA, Wis. (WFRV) - The process for repairing the Menasha Lock has been finished.
This is just in time for people to start preparing for Labor Day weekend.
A door hinge broke on July 4th, but Local 5 is told that normal operations have resumed.
It was the second time the hinge broke keeping dozens of boaters from going up the Fox River.
The Army Corps of Engineers and a construction firm worked to fix the problem by redesigning the faulty hinge.
