Police seek suspect in hotel robbery

GRAND CHUTE, Wis. - Grand Chute police are asking for the public's help in locating the suspect in a robbery that occurred at a hotel Wednesday evening.

Police say that about 6:42 p.m. Wednesday, a suspect demanded money from the front desk clerk at the Microtel Inn on the 300 block of N. Metro Drive in Grand Chute.

The suspect is said to have pointed an unknown object at the clerk through a jacket before running away from the scene, getting away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police say witnesses describe the suspect as about 5 feet 4 inches tall with a slender build, and wearing a dark blue/black and white hoodie jacket, black gloves, and panty hose over the suspect's face.
