Serious injuries following Sheboygan crash

The driver was airlifted by Flight For Life

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. - Sunday afternoon, the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office responded to a call reporting a rollover vehicle crash in the Town of Sherman.

Deputies determined that a southbound vehicle, a Hyundai Sonata, lost control and exited the west side of the road, striking a traffic sign and utility pole.

The car rolled and came to a rest on its roof.

The driver, 46-year-old Corey Shaver, a Sheboygan resident, was trapped in the car and had to be removed with assistance from Random Lake Fire Department. He was airlifted by Flight For Life to Froedert Medical Center with serious injuries.

The passenger, 34-year-old Jason Baysinger, a Plymouth resident, was taken by Random Lake Ambulance to St. Nicholas Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The accident remains under investigation.
