Tortoise missing from Oshkosh Zoo

WFRV - The Oshkosh Police Department is investigating a Tortoise that is missing from the Menominee Park Zoo. The tortoise is a Russian Tortoise that is approximately 8” to 10” in length.

The tortoise was discovered missing yesterday morning. The tortoise was likely removed from its enclosure by someone and may have been taken from the zoo.

The tortoise is not dangerous to the public. If it is observed please leave it alone and contact the Oshkosh Police Department. It is important to know that the tortoise cannot swim and will drown if submerged in water.
