Green Bay, Wis.(WFRV)- Coastal bodies of water in the Green Bay area had a health checkup by area water experts.
NEW Water and University of Wisconsin Sea Grant completed the first water conditions report of the Green Bay area in two decades. The report shows the coastal wetlands are in fair condition and updated data on fish and wildlife populations. According to the report, fish populations are doing well and beach closings due to bacterial contamination are also at a fair level. Invasive species and water toxins were identified as the biggest threats to the ecological health.
