GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV)-- The salty snacks are packed and the beer cases stacked—as Woodman’s Food Market in Green Bay gears up for one of the busiest weekends of the year.

"Traffic is definitely more than an average Sunday,” said Woodman’s Food Market Assistant Manager, Brian Healey.

While football fans may not be sporting their green and gold this weekend—watching the Seattle Seahawks take on the Denver Broncos in New Jersey is a perfect excuse to tailgate on the couch.

“It’s a good time to meet up and watch football," said Zachary Skiba.

Zachary and his wife are just one of a million American families that will be throwing a Super Bowl Party Sunday.

Tiffany Skiba said, “We’re just having a little get together and that’s why we’re here now getting some brats and some cheese dip and some different things to make some appetizers.”

Employees tell us they’ll stock their shelves about 5 or 6 times this weekend just to keep up with the high demand.

So what are this year’s most popular items?

“Chips, soda, shrimp, chicken, wings, meat balls, any kind of dip, beer ,crackers you name it," said Healey.

So how do they keep it all in stock?

“We book our shrimp and all of our appetizers months ahead of time.  That way we make sure we have the availability," said Woodman’s Food Market Meat Manager, Toby Kelley.

In between chowing down on all this junk food, who will you be rooting for?

Tiffany Skiba said, “The Seahawks.”

James Martin said, “Sometimes you just got to go with the team that you think are going to win.”

As for Packers fans, there's always next year.
