Young Chefs hit the kitchen.

APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) - Young chefs-to-be hit the kitchen today to make some tasty creations. 

Students from Fox Valley Technical College and Madison Area Technical College got to compete in a Culinary Competition for a spot in regionals. 

They had a total of four months to prepare for the challenge. 

Students will be required to cook chicken, flat fish, and vegetables as part of the competition. 

Students were critiqued on their skills, menu tasting and format or a total score.
