NFL players continue to act during playing of anthem

CBS News (WFRV) - Controversy continues over protests regarding NFL players sitting during the national anthem after President Trump called for the protests to end Saturday night.

Players from all over the league took a knee before the start of the national anthem in Sunday's games. Titans and Texans players stood and linked arms during the anthem. Saints players kneeled before the song and stood during. Before the anthem was played for the Ravens and Steelers game, the announcer was found fighting for the lead, as a chorus of boos surged back when the crowd was asked to join the Ravens players in a prayer before the anthem.
