ASHWAUBENON, Wis. (WFRV) The Oneida Tribe of Indians says a $28 million renovation of its gaming operations is on track. Underway since last June, Thursday the tribe offered us a glimpse of the progress. Drawing hundreds of thousands of people each year, Oneida Casino officials say this upgrade is about pleasing their customers.
Inside the Oneida's main casino the signs of renovation have been present the past 6 months. But the general manager of gaming here says this multi-million dollar makeover is almost done.
In all the tribe is adding 5 new restaurants - including one at its smaller casino on West Mason Street.
All should open by April 7.
