Packers give quarter million dollar grant to Brown County Achievement

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - The Green Bay Packers are offering a big hand to children in Brown County who are trying to get an education.

Today, the Green Bay Packers foundation donated a $250,000 grant to Achieve Brown County.

Achieve Brown County is a program that brings together a number of organizations and groups to improve the health, safety and education of kids in Brown County

"This one really stood out I think because of the collaborative nature of it. I think people really sense the need," Packers CEO Mark Murphy says.

The Packers Foundation has given more than $3.9 million to charitable causes since it began in 1986.
