Police come across meth lab when investigating robbery

NEENAH, Wis. (WFRV) - Police have arrested a man who they say might be  responsible for robbing a gas station in Neenah.

Police say a suspect robbed the express gas station on the corner of commercial and Tyler streets this morning.

As they were tracking the suspect they  came across a meth lab  inside a nearby garage.  One of the residents living in that home became a top suspect in the investigation.

They tracked him down at the Appleton Public Library as police responded to a theft complaint.

Investigators are interviewing the man  in custody about the robbery.

NEENAH, Wis. (WFRV) - Police came across a meth lab while investigating a robbery in Neenah on Friday.

Officials say a man entered the Express Gas Station on the corner of Winneconne and Tyler Streets.

 They say he had a stocking on his head and hands, demanded money and fled on foot.

While tracking him with a K-9 unit, police say they found a Methamphetamine lab in a garage near the corner of Winneconne and Henry Streets.

Investigators are trying to figure out if the two cases are related.

Police have not been able to locate the robbery suspect who got away with an undetermined amount of money.
