SHAWANO, Wisc. (WFRV) Authorities are on the lookout for a man they believe is involved in numerous vehicle thefts and disturbances.

The Shawano County Sheriff's Department says all the incidents happened in Gresham, Tilleda, and Leopolis between August 1st and August 3rd.

During the investigation, deputies located a semi tractor that they suspected to be stolen. While trying to stop the vehicle, the driver took off in the semi. During the pursuit, the driver backed the semi into a patrol car...twice. While still on the run with the semi, the driver hit a tree, then took off on foot.

K9 units were called in, as well as an aircraft from the WI State Patrol. The suspect was not located.

The Sheriff's Department believes the driver was 26-year-old Calvin Ossmann, 5'11", 170 pounds, brown hair and hazel eyes. Deputies warn not to attempt to apprehend Ossmann if you see him, but to call the Sheriff's Department 715-526-3111.

The Sheriff's Department is also recommending that people always lock their vehicles and do not leave keys or valuables in the vehicles when they are unoccupied.
