WFRV-TV Green Bay, wi
GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - After paying its second visit to downtown Green Bay in two summers, the tall ship Peacemaker is preparing to set sail.

The ship has been docked along the City Deck since Thursday.

During the peacemaker's stay, people have been able to board and tour the ship.

Organizers put together a number of activities around the peacemaker's visit and they've received a positive response from Green Bay residents and the crew.

"They love Green Bay because of the hospitality, because of the area, because of the localness, Brehanna Skaletski of Downtown Green Bay says. "The people that are coming down, they're asking great questions, they're learning, they're taking it all in. The crew's been awesome to have in Green Bay, they've just been working with us, we've been working with them, it's a great weekend."

Last year's successful visit during the Tall Ships Festival helped inspire this year's visit. The ship is expected to depart Monday or Tuesday.
