WEB EXTRA: Interview with Mayor Jim Schmitt about Kid's Day

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - The 11th Annual Kid's Day celebrations began early this morning. Throughout the day there were 20 events free of charge for those 17 years of age and under, including movies, games, bowling, lunch and free rides at Bay Beach Amusement Park.

Kid's Day was brought to Green Bay by Mayor Jim Schmitt, when he took office back in 2003. Since then it become a family staple for many and time to show appreciation for the future leaders of Green Bay.
