Running back DuJuan Harris returned to the field for the first time this off-season. Then, a minor knee issue kept him out of practice the first two weeks of training camp.
Randall Cobb also returned to practice. Cobb missed the preseason opener with a biceps injury.
After getting no action during last Friday night’s game, the kicking competition heated up again on Monday. Giorgio Tavecchio was perfect, 8-8, while Mason Crosby was 7-8. McCarthy said he plans to continue giving both kickers plenty of reps over the next several camp practices.
