Brewers fall to Pirates in 12 innings

Andrew McCutchen's walk-off homer in the 12th inning Tuesday night gave the Pirates a 4-3 victory over the Brewers at PNC Park in Pittsburgh.

With the loss, Milwaukee falls to 2-10 in the month of May, and 16-21 overall.

The Brewers had a 3-2 lead in the 8th inning, but a Russell Martin double off John Axford drove in Neil Walker with the tying run.  McCutchen then homered off Mike Fiers, the last available Brewers pitcher.

The two teams will continue their series Wednesday night at 6:05 p.m.
