Green Bay Men's Basketball Loses on Buzzer Beater


Kaylon Williams hit a buzzer-beating three-pointer to lift Milwaukee (11-6, 4-1 HL) to a 64-63 victory over visiting Green Bay (6-9, 2-3 HL) Saturday night in Milwaukee. Green Bay lost despite a career-high 20 points from freshman guard Keifer Sykes, who added three assists and three steals.

Brennan Cougill added 12 points and seven rebounds and Alec Brown had eight points and 12 rebounds for the Phoenix, who dropped all three games of a three-game road trip by a combined eight points.

Green Bay returns home this week to play Detroit at 7 p.m. on Thursday and Wright State on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m.
