State baseball - Wausaukee falls in D-4 semifinals

An 8-run 2nd inning led Greenwood past Wausaukee, 11-1 in 5 innings on Wednesday morning in a Division 4 state baseball semifinal at Fox Cities Stadium.

Greenwood's big inning came on three hits, as Wausaukee walked six batters in the frame. 

Down 10-0 in the 3rd, the Rangers got on the board with an RBI single from Beau DeLaet, then loaded the bases with no one out, but couldn't put another run across. 

There will be two more teams from northeastern Wisconsin playing on Wednesday, as Oconto meets Osseo-Fairchild at 1:00 p.m in a Division 3 semifinal, and Notre Dame takes on Ellsworth in a D-2 semifinal at 6:00 p.m.
