Packers coach McAdoo hired as Giants offensive coordinator

- The 2014 coaching carousel has reached Green Bay.

Ben McAdoo, who spent the previous 8 seasons on Mike McCarthy's staff, the last two as quarterbacks coach, has been hired as offensive coordinator for the New York Giants.

McAdoo had been in demand thus far in the off-season.  Aside from the Giants, he interviewed for the offensive coordinator job in Miami, and the head coaching position with the Cleveland Browns.

Green Bay may have an in-house candidate to replace McAdoo in running backs coach Alex Van Pelt, who is a former NFL quarterback, and spent time as quarterbacks coach with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
