(WFRV-TV) - The Packers held their final practice of training camp Wednesday, as they put their final preparations together for the 4th preseason game against Kansas City Thursday.  There was no media availability with players or head coach Mike McCarthy, but Green Bay GM Ted Thompson did address reporters this morning before practice.

Injury Report:  Both LB Brad Jones (quadriceps) and CB Dmitri Goodson (concussion) miossed their third straight day of practice, putting their chances of playing Thursday in extreme doubt.  The only other injuries are C J.C. Tretter (knee), and TE Brandon Bostick (leg), but both are expected to be out awhile.

Practice:  Rookie WR Davante Adams has had an up and down camp, but Wednesday was one of his better days.  It appears Jarrett Boykin has all but locked up the #3 WR job, but Adams will be making a case for playing time in the regular season if he plays consistently like he did Wednesday.  The big play of the day came when Adams dove, rolled, and hauled in a tough TD catch from Scott Tolzien.  Speaking of Tolzien, he and Matt Flynn look like they will be splitting all the playing time Thursday, as Aaron Rodgers did little in terms of "team" work in practice.  Matt Flynn took the first reps, meaning he could get the first crack at leading the offense.  Based on playing time in practice, the majority of the offensive line and skill position starters on offense may get the night off vs. the Chiefs.  New starting center Corey Linsley looks to get a bunch of work, after recently stepping in to replace the injured Tretter. Linsley has some work to do yet, and it what evident Wednesday including a botched snap to Flynn.  Josh Sitton, who looks like the backup center at this point, also had a botched snap to Tolzien when he took a rare rep snapping the ball.  DT Letroy Guion practiced for the second straight day after returning from a hamstring injury he battled all of camp.  It is unclear if he will play vs. Kansas City.  The "outside0in" experiment continued as well, as both Carl Bradford and Nate Palmer took reps at inside linebacker after working primarily at OLB during their time with the Packers.  Both could see time at ILB Thursday with Jones out.  Judging from reps in practice, it appears DuJuan Harris will be the Packers kick returner and Micah Hyde could be the primary punt return man.

What's Next:  The Packers take of the Chiefs at 6 p.m. Thursday at Lambeau Field in the final game of the preseason.  Then it's on to the games that count, starting with the defending-champion Seahawks Thursday September 4th.
