3-Cheese Garlic Bread With Red Bell Pepper Dipping Sauce

1 large loaf of French bread
1/3 cup unsalted butter
2/3 cup mayonnaise
8 cloves garlic, chopped fine
1 tsp dried or fresh oregano
Salt and pepper
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup shredded Monterey Jack or Colby cheese
1/2 cup shredded parmesan
2 cups of your favorite marinara sauce
1/2 tsp –1 tsp chili flakes
1 1/2  - 2 jarred roasted red bell peppers

Preheat oven to 400°. Carefully slice the loaf of bread in half lengthwise and “butterfly” to reveal the inside of the bread. In a bowl, mix together the butter, mayonnaise, garlic cloves and oregano. Spread evenly on both halves of the bread.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Top evenly with the cheeses. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and starting to brown. Remove from the oven, let sit for a few minutes to cool down. Slice into thin slices for dipping.
In a medium saucepan, heat the marinara sauce. Add the chili flakes and red bell peppers and heat through. Carefully blend the sauce with an immersion blender or regular blender. Serve with cheesy bread for dipping.
