Protestors gathered today outside of the congressman's office inside the Paper Valley Hotel.
They tell local 5 that they have issues with what they're calling his "grand betrayal" of veterans and senior citizens. They feel Ribble is trying to balance a budget on the back of those who have already paid their dues.
"I believe you have been gravely misinformed regarding my intentions," Congressman Ribble said. "I believe we should pursue reasonable, bipartisan efforts to preserve and protect social security for both current seniors, as well as future generations."
More than 110,000 petitions against the cuts have also been delivered to Ribble's office.
