Brewers Off to a Good Start in 2013

Sports Director Burke Griffin has a full report from Opening Day at Miller Park.

It wasn't a pretty win, but Milwaukee is 1-0 and they'll take it. Trailing 3-1, a two-out rally in the 8th inning produced three Brewer runs. Aramis Ramirez's deep double to left field scored two of those, giving Milwaukee their first lead of the game. In the 9th, after striking out two, closer John Axford gave up a homerun to Dexter Fowler and opening day went into extra innings. Jonathan Lucroy was the hero in the 10th with a walk-off sacrifice fly to center field. The Brewers win for the first time on opening day in 5 years.
