Even though 85% of U.S. milk products are sold domestically...it is our growing share in world dairy markets that are helping to raise prices estimates for 2014 milk.
Following Friday's Production and Supply and Demand report...both the USDA and private forecaster have raised their 2014 price estimates for both the Class 3...and all milk price  
U.W. Dairy Economist Mark Stephenson says that even though 85% of our milk supply is sold domestically...it is our increasing share of the export market that gives us reason for optimism for this years' dairy prices.
