GREEN BAY, Wisc. (WFRV) The final investigative report looking into allegations against UWGB basketball coach Brian Wardle is now in the hands of the UWGB Chancellor.

Attorney Joseph Nicks, the independent investigator, delivered the report to University Wisconsin-Green Bay. Chancellor Tom Harden says the University will release the report as soon as they are legally permitted to do so.

The University must first allow Mr. Wardle up to 10 days to review his copy of the report and challenge whether all or part of the document should be released.

Wardle's coaching tactics came under scrutiny after a complaint by the family of a former player. The complaint concerns alleged verbal and emotional abuse by Wardle, but not physical abuse.

The Chancellor will meet with Coach Wardle before any report and decision are released to the public.
