MENASHA, Wis. (WFRV) - This weekend is the annual Park-To-Park Paddle.

However, because repairs have not been made to the Menasha Lock the boaters will have to do some walking.

No boaters will be able to kayak or canoe through the lock.

This event has grown from 21 boaters to well over 300 in it's 13 years.

The 8 1/2 mile route starts in Neenah and ends in Appleton.

The Fox River Navigational System Authority has put together a team of engineers to fix the broken gate hinge.

We're told it will take 4 to 6 weeks before the repairs are complete.
