Men's College Basketball: Green Bay loses Horizon league semifinal to Milwaukee

Phoenix suffers shocking home loss, must play NCAA waiting game.
After putting together one of the best regular seasons in program history, the Green Bay Phoenix men's basketball team may have seen it's NCAA Tournament hopes go up in smoke on Saturday night, after a 73-66 overtime loss to Milwaukee in the semifinals of the Horizon League Tournament.

The Phoenix (24-6) must now play the waiting game until Selection Sunday next weekend, to find out if they will receive an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament.

Milwaukee will face Wright State on Tuesday night in Dayton, Ohio for the Horizon League's automatic bid.

If Green Bay does not get in the NCAA, they are guaranteed a sport in the National Invitational Tournament for being Horizon League regular season champions.
