Menasha,  Wis. (WFRV)  Residents and Postal workers in Menasha lined the streets outside the post office downtown Saturday to protest the possible closing of the facility.

One Menasha Common Council Member says the post office is being consolidated with Neenah.

Councilman Stan Sevenich says the post office isn't following its own rules considering it rents the space in Neenah, but owns the office in Menasha.

Sevenich says he's also concerned about losing more jobs in the downtown area and  what it will do to the local economy.

Councilman Sevenich says the rally is about letting the public know what's going on.
