There is a unique way to see the Door County peninsula, and two lighthouses.
DOOR COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) - There is a unique way to see the Door County peninsula, and two lighthouses.

The Door County Fireboat Cruises are held on a retired Chicago Fireboat. It was built in 1937.

The tours are narrated, and showcase the shipbuilding industry, and other points of interest in the Sturgeon Bay canal.

The boat is equipped with a full bar and bathrooms.

Pets are even welcome to ride.

The tours leave the city dock, behind the Door County Maritime Museum in Sturgeon Bay.

Call ahead, because they have a minimum number of passengers to set sail.
