DENMARK, Wis. (WFRV) - With roughly 50 wineries in Wisconsin, there are plenty of ways to sip and swirl your way through the state.

In this week's Road Trip, Millaine Wells takes us to one of the newest places to raise a glass to this growing tradition.

Duck Creek Vineyard and Winery is located on County Highway R, just outside of Denmark.

It is 15 minutes from Green Bay, 40 minutes from the Fox Cities.

For more than a decade, the owner has been making wine and brewing beer.

His collection of amateur awards is quite impressive.

Some of the wineries 17 varieties are made from grapes, with Moscato leading the way as best seller.

You can also sample mead or honey wine and several styles of fruit wine.

Duck Creek offers the unique change to make your own wine, right down the bottling and custom label.

The activity costs roughly $200, and you end up with 28 bottles of homemade wine.

Duck Creek will be featured at the upcoming Roar on the Shore wine and beer festival. You can find details on tickets here.
