Road Trip: Tribal Heritage Crossing of the WIOUWASH State Recreational Trail

There is a brand new section of trail to explore in Winnebago County.
WINNEBAGO COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) - There is a brand new section of trail to explore in Winnebago County.

It is linking natural beauty, with urban development.

The mile and a half long Tribal Heritage Crossing just opened last fall.

It runs next to Highway 41, crossing Lake Butte des Morts.

The Heritage Crossing links into the WIOUWASH State Recreational Trail and to the new river walk downtown Oshkosh.

Dogs are welcome on a leash.

There is no fee to use the trail.
