Labor Day Forecast 9/1/2014

From Storm Team 5...

From Storm Team 5 Meteorologist Dave Miller...

Clouds rolled back in overnight as showers and thunderstorms pushed back into Central Wisconsin.

Labor Day morning into mid afternoon will bring the highest chance for a shower or storm to come rumbling through your neighborhood or campsite.

Some of the storms will likely pack some heavy downpours -- also some gusty winds and hail are also possible with the strongest storms.

Areas south and east of the Fox Valley will see the greatest threat for some strong storms.

Tuesday is back to school for many kids in the area -- and it looks like it will start out ok although there will be a chance for showers  by midday. Wednesday looks good with sunny skies but showers and thunderstorms return on Thursday. Right now, next weekend looks sunny with slightly cooler temps in the low 70s.

Have a great and safe Labor Day.
