Voters approve all four questions in Ashwaubenon school referendum

The district has received the green light to spend $8.9 million on a new auditorium, $3.9 million on a community center, $7.5 million on a community swimming pool, and $1.5 million for a warm water pool.
ASHWAUBENON, Wis. (WFRV) - Voters in Ashwaubenon have approved all four que http:// stions in their school district's referendum.

The district has received the green light to spend $8.9 million on a new auditorium, $3.9 million on a community center, $7.5 million on a community swimming pool, and $1.5 million for a warm water pool.

"People want to make sure the money is spent properly," Village President Michael Aubinger says, "and if they buy into what you're doing, they will vote for it because they think it's a good investment. and that's what happened tonight."

"We have an exceptionally unique relationship here between the village and the school district," Ashwaubenon Schools Superintendent Brian Hanes adds, "and I think this was an example that it truly takes a whole village to support an entire community."
