Estrada, Segura lead Brewers past Pirates

Milwaukee snaps four-game losing streak Monday night, 5-1.
Marco Estrada tossed seven stellar innings on the mound, while N. L. Player of the Week Jean Segura had three hits and three stolen bases to lead the Brewers past the Pittsburgh Pirates, 5-1, on Monday night in Pittsburgh.

The win snapped a four-game losing streak for the Brewers (16-20) who had been 1-9 in the month of May entering Monday's contest.

Segura went 3-5, and now leads the National League with a .368 batting average.  Teammate Carlos Gomez is second in the league in hitting at .367.

8 days after a rough outing against the Cardinals, Estrada (3-2) went seven innings, allowing one earned run on three hits, giving Milwaukee's tired bullpen a much-needed lengthy start.

The Brewers and Pirates will resume their series at 6:05 Tuesday night.  Kyle Lohse will start for Milwaukee, facing Pittsburgh's Jeff Locke.
