Fall Hay Harvest

To harvest hay in September or not use to be an easy question to answer but now growers have a few more options.
It use to be that once the calendar turned to September growers were encouraged to refrain from harvesting their alfalfa until after October 15th. Now things have changes and growers are not as concerned about harvesting in the time frame and hurt the chances of their group to over winter.
