Green Bay, Wis. (WFRV)- Many residents who were displaced nine days ago from the Nicolet Apartments in Green Bay have been able to return briefly to collect their belongings.
It's the first time since the fire broke out in a vehicle inside a parking garage that the tenants have been able to return. Most of the damage was to the units above the garage where the fire started. Management is giving tenants only a few days to pack up their stuff and clear out their units. The deadline is Tuesday and the last-minute word has some tenants frustrated they don't have more time.
The units have to be cleared for the proper plumbing and electrical repairs to be done.
