Carlos Gomez was just named to the All-Star team and he proved why with his glove in the 9th inning. Gomez robbed Joey Votto of a potential go-ahead home run with an amazing catch in center field at the wall to secure Milwaukee's 4-3 win against Cincinnati on Monday night at Miller Park. Reds pitcher Homer Bailey was coming off a no-hitter against the Giants but quickly had his bid for another effort like that ended by Jonathan Lucroy in the first inning. The Brewers catcher homered for the third consecutive game to give Milwaukee a 2-1 lead. Jean Segura and Rickie Weeks also picked up RBI in the victory and Kyle Lohse (5-6) pitched into the seventh inning for his fourth consecutive winning decision. Ryan Braun was activated from the DL after his thumb injury but did not participate in the game, while third baseman Aramis Ramirez went back on the DL with a nagging left knee injury. Tomorrow night Brewers RHP Wily Peralta (5-9, 5.27 ERA) is scheduled to face LHP Tony Cingrani (3-0, 3.40 ERA)
