Hunger and Homeless Awareness Week events

A list of events you can use to join the fight against hunger and homelessness in Brown County.
Monday, November 18th: 
        Hunger and Homeless Awareness Dinner, Riverside Ballroom, 1560 Main St., 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Tickets are $25/each or $175/table of 8. Guest speakers are Laurice Snyder and Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila. For tickets contact Deb at 920.822.6050

Tuesday, November 19th:
        Manna for Life Hunger Walk, 1599 University Ave. Register at 5:00pm for the short walk to raise awareness of the issues facing those living in poverty. A chili dinner will follow.

Wednesday, November 20th:
        Feeding America Food Drop, East Town Mall parking lot. Food distribution from 12:00pm-2:00pm (while supplies last). Feeding America will provide bags of groceries to individuals and families in need. No prequalification needed.

Thursday, November 21st:
        Poverty Simulation, Grace Lutheran Church, 321 S. Madison St., 9:00am-11:30am. The simulation will provide an opportunity to "walk in the shoes" of those living in poverty. Each participant is given all the information needed to make decisions on how to provide for basic needs. To register, contact Robin at 920.448.6732
