BROWN COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) - The Brown Co. man convicted in the shooting death of a Green Bay teen will spend the next 40 years in prison.

Julio Gonzalez, 19,  was sentenced Monday to the maximum punishment for a charge of First Degree Reckless Homicide for the death of Jeremy Teller, 15.

Last summer, Gonzalez and six friends were looking for another man at a home on green bay's east side.  They instead found Teller, who they did not know. Gonzalez shot teller in the back.

Teller's father said, while no prison term will bring back his son, he is satisfied with the sentence.

"Forty years, I'm satisfied," he said. "His (Gonzalez's) family was crying, but my family and I will probably be crying for the rest of our lives because we lost a young kid."

The other six people involved have also been charged in connection with the crime.
